For automotive painting, downdraft and side-draft paint booths give the cleanest finish because air enters from the ceiling and exits through floor or side filters, keeping overspray away from wet panels. For OEM body shops we recommend full downdraft cabins with bake cycle; for repair shops, side-draft is more cost-effective.

The terms are often used interchangeably, but technically a spray booth is the enclosure where coating is applied, while a paint booth refers to the complete system including ventilation, filtration, lighting and bake cycle. A spray booth handles application; a paint booth manages the entire painting environment.

Yes. Autocoat Engineering operates an ISO-certified manufacturing facility, and our paint booths are built to relevant Indian and international standards for ventilation, fire safety and emission control. Each delivery includes test certificates, electrical safety reports and a compliance dossier for client audits.

Yes. Every Autocoat paint booth ships with on-site installation by our trained engineers. The package includes mechanical erection, electrical wiring, exhaust and intake ducting, commissioning, leak testing, lighting setup, operator training and a final handover with manuals, drawings and warranty documents.

Booth size is set by your largest component plus 1 metre clearance on every side and 1.5 metres above the operator's spray gun. For batch painting, multiply throughput by cycle time. Paint booths are custom-engineered, so we don't ship them through e-commerce. However, you can request quotes online via our Enquiry form, email or WhatsApp. Spares and consumables like filters and lighting are dispatched anywhere in India after confirmation. All commercial details are handled directly by our sales team.

Autocoat paint booths use galvanised steel or pre-coated GI panels for walls and ceilings, mild-steel structural members for the frame, tempered glass viewing windows, FRP-lined water troughs (for water-wash booths) and high-efficiency PU-foam or pleated paper filters. All metalwork is powder-coated for long service life.

Yes. Autocoat manufactures forced-circulation paint drying ovens, infrared curing ovens, batch ovens and conveyorised tunnel ovens. Heating options include diesel, LPG, natural gas, electrical and infrared. Ovens can be supplied standalone or integrated with our paint booths and pretreatment plants for complete coating-line solutions.

Standard Autocoat paint booths take 4–6 weeks from order to dispatch, plus 1–2 weeks for installation. Large custom plants with conveyors and ovens take 8–12 weeks. Lead time depends on size, customisation, electrical specifications and material availability. Confirmed delivery dates are committed at the order stage.
